Happy New Year FreeBSD Peeps!
Who would like to start up the Front Range User Group meetings again? I was
thinking of having our first meeting of the year on January 10 or 17 at our
new Boulder office. I will need to reserve a conference room for this. Our
address is 2222 14th Street, Boulder, and we're in the YWCA building.

I have a goal this year that I was thinking of incorporating into some of
the meetups and I wanted to get your input. I want to set up a FreeBSD
system that I can use for 80% of my work tasks by EuroBSDCon. I was
thinking for this first meeting, we could talk about what options are
available for running FreeBSD on bare metal, versus a virtual machine, like
I'm currently doing. Plus, I want my system to be lightweight since I will
take it traveling with me.
I also have another goal this year, and that is to offer Intro to FreeBSD
workshops at universities in the Rocky Mountain Region. That could include
Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Nebraska,... I'd like to find people who
would be interested in helping run these.
Let me know if you would like to attend a meetup this month and whether the
10th or 17th or both works for you.
