Hi!  My name is Keith Rutsky and I am the corporate recruiter at
Wireless Generation (www.wirelessgeneration.com).  We are a 400 person
educational software company located in the DUMBO section of Brooklyn
(one subway stop from Manhattan on the A/C line).  We create
technologies used by educators to help teach their students math and
reading - our products currently are used by over 200,000 teachers
across the US to help over 4 million students!


We are eager to hire a full-time System Administrator to join our IT
Operations team and support our critical technical infrastructure.


We are looking for someone who is fearless in the face of systems
issues, a smart and driven troubleshooter, who can flex his or her
systems and networking knowledge to help evolve our infrastructure and
make  it automated and programmable.  The successful candidate will be
part of a team challenged to ensure 24/7 availability of key services
and infrastructure in our Linux production environment, crafting
documentation for our key systems and services, and acting as the go-to
person for troubleshooting issues.


We require at least 5 years experience with UNIX.  You must have spent
the last 3 years focused on Linux.  You will possess an understanding of
configuration management concepts and tools, a solid systems and
networking expertise and extensive experience with advanced Linux
networking concepts.  Additionally you will have a strong understanding
of SAN systems and extensive experience with the major scripting
