: so what distro do folks around here prefer. The first is still the best - Slackware. I also use Xandros and Debian when I'm in the mood to break something :) (WTF does Debian insist on installing Exim when installing Apache and screwing up my MTA?!? Then again, that's why I use a BSD...)
