CISSP = Certified Information Systems Security Professional
ISC2 is the sponsoring organization for this certification(www.isc2.org)
CBK is the 'Common Body of Knowledge' every information security
professional is supposed to know. There are 10 'domains'
(topic areas) that include :
- Access Control Systems and Methodology
- Applications and Systems Development Security
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)
- Cryptography
- Law, Investigation and Ethics
- Operations Security
- Physical Security
- Security Architecture and Models
- Security Management Practices
- Telecommunications and Network Security
