Excellent point. I was a diehard Slackware linux user for years until I
stumbled across Freesbie. It gave me a taste of what can be done with a
FreeBSD based system configured primarily for desktop. I enjoyed it so
much I've switched to FreeBSD exclusively at work and home. As a bonus,
it enabled me to resurrect some old PCs that were destined for the
garbage. Another flavor of BSD geared towards the desktop user, not
sysadmin type can only do good things for *BSD in general.
