I'm running 3.0.1 monitoring roughly 150 hosts with no stability issues.
The nagios server is running on Solaris. (It's actually in a separate
zone on a X2200 running Solaris 10)
I had checked out zenoss a while back and it looked promising, if not
a bit of an involved initial setup (But I guess that's the same with all
monitoring systems, setting them up initially is a PITA)
