Hi All,

Just a reminder- this is about time to get rooms at the Rivera:
(Still plenty of time to get plane tix.)

Some ike-bits on DC:
A conference where if you don't have a drink in your hand, you're a fed.
Defcon is the largest hacker conference in the world, the entire  
Rivera Casino is taken over by the event- a great time.  Talks quality  
vary, (like any con), there's always tons of stuff that blows my mind  
every year.  Last year had like 7 tracks?(!)?  CTF is always my  
favorite thing to watch, yet the Kenshoto crew is not running it ths  
year, so who knows...
As with most cons, DC is most fun to be there with people you know/ 
like/trust etc..., it's especially a place to be paranoid, (open  
network and hacking war zone), so it can be *very* lonely or strange  
to go alone.

Would love to be there with a huge crew of NYC*BUG folks this year!
