If anyone hadn't heard about this:

Obviously a big deal on a number of levels.

I have not read the whole document, but certainly there's open questions 
about ZFS (which I have heard is a full, irrevocable fork), dtrace, etc.

Certainly has other wide implications for the BSD Community, and not 
just in terms of ported technologies.

I'd assume that there's a wide audience of developers and users who will 
be looking for a new home. . .
