Wow, thanks for all the feedback so far.  A couple of changes since #2
is the favorite:

- #2 now has a bit of a margin around "open" items
- #2 gained the year split list (ylist) from #3

The comment about text throughout the site and the logo fonts being
different seems valid, though I'll have to defer that change until I
learn what font we used in the new logo - I'm sure someone will remind
me very quickly and tell me what font-family list to use :)
