For bins blocknews will sell blocks for a reasonable price.  Frugalusenet
is very cheap ($4.99/monthly, $50/yearly) offering 1000 days of retention. 

usenetnow has longer retention, costs a bit more, $12/monthly, $30.49 for 3
month blocks.
