My client, a mid-size, New York-based, full-service commercial & private bank, is seeking an experienced and skilled client/server developer (with JavaScript expertise) to assist in implementing GUI-based financial applications.  This position carries total annual compensation from $90,000 to $110,000 (depending upon experience and skills).

Position Responsibilities include:
> Designing, implementing, and rolling out high quality, GUI-based software applications
> Investigating and recommending technical solutions to complex problems
> Effectively communicating with team members and with the management team on design issues and decisions
> Developing formal design documents
> Estimating medium and large projects
> Actively participating with team and working comfortably with team members
> Articulating and presenting design decisions to a wide audience in both verbal and written communications

Professional Qualifications:
> Minimum 3 years JavaScript development experience
> Minimum 2 years Relational Database experience (preferably Oracle)
> 1-2 years XML experience
> 1 -2 years iis and asp
> Possess knowledge in a variety of development processes and understand how to best tailor a development process to a development organization

Preferences/Additional Desired Skills:
> 5+ years JavaScript development experience
> 1-2 years experience with ActiveX and Windows Scripting Technologies
> Experience in assisting or leading requirements gathering
> Possess strong object oriented analysis and design skills and demonstrate experience delivering successful OO designs to market
> Exposure to design patterns and UML
> 5+ years development experience in C++ technologies
> 1-2 years of Middleware experience (preferably MQSeries)

Education:
> A bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) is required
