      Large company with a very large global implementation of linux
systems. This company historically has several thousand large
solaris systems, some aix systems. They have made a serious
committment in direction to move business critical applications to
the linux platform. They have already implemented several large
systems globally on linux.

      Required Skills.

      Expertise with Suse and Redhat. Several years of Unix systems
engineering. Knowledge of the OSDL Familiarity with current versions
of Suse, Redhat and what each vendor is going to release next.
Experience coding, most likely in C - so that you could review the
linux source code, find bugs, fix them and even then package those
fixes and send to OSDL?

      Truly someone that has a passion for Linux and would be excited to
contribute to a very progressive commercial investment. This is a
hands on architect, technical engineering lead position in a decent
size linux engineering group comprised of smart, well rounded,
talented engineers.
