There were questions about the hotel we are recommending (everyone 
should know its name by now :). ..

So if you're in the area, stop by there. . . AFAIK, it's fine from other 
people I've known who have stayed there.  And the reviews online aren't 
different than most places like that.

The fact they take cash only is a bit of a hassle, but I think it's fine.

Stop by there. . . let the list know.

But I say, it should be fine for our purposes.
