hey that's great - i've been using my sdf account for years now 
(decades? yikes) but missed this announcement.

imho - a service like SDF, or any shell service that you don't manage 
yourself, is a key tool for any sysadmin as it gives you another vector 
to test/troubleshoot network connectivity, externally facing services etc.
